Service operator

Reservations

• A reservation becomes firm only after availability is confirmed and the rental payment is completed where online payment is available.
• The period, vehicle, pickup/return location and included mileage are displayed before confirmation.
• KRO Rentals may request additional identity, driving licence or eligibility checks.

Payments

• Prices may be displayed in EUR, while online payment may be processed in RON at the rate displayed on the website before payment.
• The rental payment is separate from the security deposit.
• Additional charges may include extra mileage, delivery, collection, delay, special cleaning, missing fuel, damage or other contractually justified costs.

Security deposit

The security deposit is intended to cover potential costs arising during vehicle use: damage, fines, missing fuel, extra mileage, delays or other customer obligations.

If no amounts need to be retained, the deposit is released or refunded according to the payment method and processor procedures.

Vehicle use

• The vehicle must be used responsibly, legally and according to its intended purpose.
• Use for racing, competitions, drifting, unauthorised off-road driving, towing, sub-rental or illegal activities is prohibited.
• The customer is responsible for fines, road charges, parking, missing documents, keys, accessories or other costs generated during the rental period.

Cancellation and changes

Cancellations, changes and refunds are reviewed depending on the timing of the request, reserved period, vehicle type and any costs already incurred.

For special situations, the customer should contact KRO Rentals as soon as possible.
